Question:
Is it appropriate for institutions to make public on their websites the name list of job seekers who sit through their exams?

Answer:
When collecting personal data, institutions should properly inform the data subject (i.e. the job seekers) of all information about the application procedures, (via a personal data collection statement), such as the manner in which the name list of exam attendees would be made public and the specifics of personal data to be disclosed. Care should be taken not to disclose too much of the applicants’ data (such as ID numbers, among other specifics).
